Comedies Episodes

***This episode of ScreamQueenz was first released on 11/29/2024 with an excessive amount of editing errors making the show unlistenable. The errors have been fixed. My apologies for the sloppiness.*** Punk rock will never die! But punk rockers sure do. Plus they are delicious. In UNCLE PECKERHEAD (currently streaming on Prime, Hulu, Sling TV and The Roku Channel), a fledging punk band starting out on their first tour discovers their new hot Southern daddy roadie is also a man-eating...thing....

If you enjoyed this episode, say THANK YOU and SUPPORT THE SHOW with a one-time donation at bit.ly/sqthankyou ***** You know how I love a movie full of rich obnoxious jerks who are all secretly trying to murder each other so they can inherit a mountain of money? THIS IS ONE OF THOSE MOVIES! Except it's also SUPER GAY! THE ESTATE is the wickedly hilarious brainchild of writer/star CHRIS BAKER and his IRL partner, director JAMES KAPNER. Happy Halloween, my Beautiful Screamerz! To celebrate, we're taking a break from psychological analysis and sociological impacts to get absolutely bonkers with the outrageous zombie comedy out of Belgium called YUMMY (currently streaming on SHUDDER and AMC+). A young woman travels to a shady Eastern European hospital for a discount breast reduction and instead must survive a zombie uprising when it turns out her surgeon's experimental surgery techniques have deadly side effects. Can anyone sur...

This PATREON TAKEOVER Episode was made possible by the Sheer Fabulousness of SuperScreamer SuperStarz: THOMAS HARRIS The military has developed a new viral bioweapon that will turn ordinary civilians into Super Soldiers: fearless, relentless, unstoppable killing machines that Death itself cannot defeat. Except the virus never made it to the soldiers. It found itself a different kind of Warrior. Tonight, They Rise! But first, They dance. ALL HAIL THE ZOMBIE STRIPPERS! ZOMBIE STRIPPERS (2008) is ...

Three young Evangelical movie users find a strange unmarked roll of film in the theater's basement. Thinking it might be porn, they screen the movie and accidentally unleash a bloodthirsty succubus. But in order to survive, they must not only conquer the demon they released but also the demons they hide within themselves. Despite the provocative title, PORNO (2019) isn't really about explicit nudity, sex and exploitation. At its core, it's a surprisingly thoughtful morality play about faith and ...

Halloween may be over, but the horrific hijinx continue with the delightful vampire comedy I HAD A BLOODY GOOD TIME AT HOUSE HARKER (2016). The bumbling descendants of Jonothan and Mina Harker must raise $50,000 to save their ancestral home, and their elaborate scheme to cash in on their vampire-slaying history accidentally kicks off an actualvampire apocalypse. Oopsie. To add to the blood-soaked belly laughs, my special guests are MICHAEL HOWIE from Defender Radio and CHRISTOPHER GRONLUND from...

THE DARK SIDE OF THE RAINBOW: Part Two - "Queer Prejudices" On the next leg of our journey to the ugly underbelly of LGBT+ life, we're heading to Providence, Rhode Island for the dragtastic, glitter-sprinkled, and gore-streaked queer slasher, DEATH DROP GORGEOUS (2020). A dejected bartender and an aging drag queen try to survive the eccentric and hostile nightlife of a corrupt city, as a masked maniac slaughters young gay men and drains them of blood. Lurking under the glitz, glamour and fabul...

THE DARK SIDE OF THE RAINBOW: Part 1 - "Queer Stereotypes" Don't you hate it when your favorite disco is also an ancient Templar shrine and you die in a freak foam party accident and your soul is forced to walk the earth for the next 700 years? ME TOO! Pride Month is off to a very silly start with the adorable yet kinda problematic 2006 French comedy POLTERGAY. Boogie down with my very special guest TRAE DEAN ("DAMN YOU, UNCLE LEWIS!") and me on this madcap tour through the Gay Afterlife. PO...

With Friday, May 13th looming on the calendar, it's time for another FRIDAY THE 13th SPECTACULAR episode! This time we're celebrating the work of JOHN CARL BUECHLER ("Friday the 13th Part 7: The New Blood") and his infamous 1986 cult classic TROLL. A banished troll king seeks to bring back his lost world of dark fairies by nefariously transforming the residents of a San Francisco apartment building into evil mystical creatures. Whimsical fantasy or antigay propaganda? YOU DECIDE! My special g...

Prepare your funny bone for some otherworldly ticklin', because for Episode 332, I unearthed a hidden gem of a haunted house comedy. In THE SELLING, a too-nice-for-his-own-good real estate agent is tricked into buying a house that was once owned by a long-dead serial killer. If that wasn't bad enough, the house is also EXTREMELY haunted. Can Richard defeat the ghosts, sell the house and save the day? (And is anybody gonna eat those leftover brownies???) To counteract the spectral scares, I'm ...

"I Do Not Care For Hunky Boys...Or do I???" July 26th marks eleven years since ScreamQueenz first hit the airwaves. Celebrate this dubious milestone and the end of this season with a sci-fi horror comedy love letter to the '80s & '90s that's like MIGHTY MORPHIN POWER RANGERS had a baby with MY GIRL. And that baby smoked a lot of crack. Like, a LOT of crack! That movie is PG: PSYCHO GOREMAN. After unearthing a gem that controls an evil monster looking to destroy the Universe, Mimi, a young g...

"Get Ready for the Violence of the Lambs..." It is a fact that there are more sheep in New Zealand. This tidbit of truth makes the New Zealand-based horror-comedy BLACK SHEEP all the more delicious! Thanks to brilliant gooey, over-the-top gore and monster effects, the seemingly stupid concept of "killer sheep" becomes genuinely terrifying. Add a dryly hilarious script to balance out the bloodshed, and you've got one humdinger of a Kiwi horror-comedy! When ovinophobic Henry returns to his fami...

"Why does everything have to be so unnecessarily gross?!?" For our Salute to Irish Horror, we'll be discussing the utterly charming supernatural comedy, EXTRA ORDINARY. To ensure we achieve maximum levels of craic, my very special guests are The End of Ti...
